Sydney transport unions threatened strikes over pay disputes. For me, the most relevant aspect is disruption. Personally, I think it’s worrying how commuters suffer. What surprises me is the timing after holiday season. For me, the most important step is negotiation. In the end, I believe strikes highlight deeper tensions in Australia’s labor market.
