According to the report, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited IDF troops deployed in the UN-patrolled buffer zone inside Syria on 19 November after Israel seized the area following Bashar al-Assad’s ouster.

The report also said that Syria condemned the illegitimate visit as a grave breach of sovereignty, while UN officials called it concerning and urged Israel to respect the 1974 disengagement accord.

In addition, at the Security Council, Syrian and Israeli ambassadors traded accusations as regional states warned that Israeli incursions were inflaming tensions.

Meanwhile, Israeli officials said a proposed security pact with Syria was distant due to disputes over territory Israel captured after Assad’s fall.

Hello, the situation in the region has become increasingly tense and dangerous. Netanyahu's visit to troops in Syria, while it may have a strategic purpose, only increases tensions and the risk of a larger conflict. Syria is absolutely right to condemn this action as a violation of its sovereignty, and the international community should do more to promote dialogue and avoid unilateral actions that could further destabilize the area. The dispute over territories and the lack of agreement on the military presence only fuel the confrontation and hinder any peace process. It is crucial that the parties involved seek diplomatic solutions and respect existing agreements. Peace in the region will only be possible if borders are respected and diplomatic efforts are prioritized, preventing the situation from escalating further.

PM Netanyahu is a brave and determined leader of Israel. He will never allow foreign invaders and enemies that may attack his country, just like what happened in the October 2023 attack by the Hamas terrorists. PM Netanyahu will not sleep when there is an attack by Hamas and all other terrorists. Syria can't stir PM Netanyahu and the IDF.

The key point is to know that the 1974 disengagement agreement is still active and UN officials regularly remind Israel and Syria to continue to respect the agreement. This shows that diplomacy and adherence to treaties are the only way to prevent major drama and maintain regional stability.
