According to the report, on July 20, US envoy Tom Barrack urged all sides in Syria’s Sweida to disarm as fighting resumed despite a Washington-brokered ceasefire. President Ahmed al-Sharaa claimed clashes were “halted” after Bedouin fighters were cleared from the city. But drone fire and rising casualties, at least 940 killed, persist. Israel prepared aid for Druze civilians, as 2,000 Israeli Druze vowed to join the fight. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio warned Damascus to stop jihadist infiltration and hold violators accountable.
