Syrian Rebels ‘Seize’ Russia’s Pantsir, ‘Invade’ Assad’s Aleppo Palace, Vow To ‘Kick Out’ Hezbollah

According to the report, Insurgents in Syria appear to have captured an advanced Russian air defence system, according to images circulating on social media. Images appear to show Russian equipment, including a Pantsir-S1 missile system, in the hands of rebel forces in Aleppo.

The report said that the claim was confirmed by the US-based think tank, Institute for the Study of War (ISW), which said opposition forces "have likely captured valuable military equipment."The Pantsir missile system was likely to have been "abandoned” by pro-regime fighters amid “disorderly withdrawals."

This after rebels launched a surprise offensive last week in northern Syria that marked an end to a long-running stalemate. On Nov. 27, rebel forces swept into Aleppo and the Hama province, to the south of the city, in a surprise offensive. The rebel offensive likely met little resistance from forces controlled by Syrian President and Kremlin ally, Bashar al-Assad.

I can say now that Zelensky is far better ,at least he stayed back in his country and is helping his men fight the war instead of running away like assad.
How incompetent is the Syrian military to have such an important asset captured? All the gain since the beginning of this war and so many brave soldiers died to have it captured the first time. And now they lose it again.

Russia have a lot of issues at hand and Syria problem have to wait. It is becoming increasingly difficult for Russia to win the war against Ukraine. Moreover, billions of dollars are going down the drain. Russia is in position to help Syria now.

Russia is now struggling with their economy and sooner or later it will collapse. It's population is also declining. I wonder why Putin disapproved the request of President Trump to sign a peace deal with Ukraine.

That is right, the warring countries must sit down and talk about a cease-fire and be friends. These presidents are like mortal enemies. They do not feel the agonies of the families of those innocent lives perished in the war.
