According to the report, the Tampa Police Department has released new aerial video showing a pursuit ahead of a crash that killed four pedestrians and injured 13 others at a business in Ybor City.

During the pursuit, police said the driver traveled down a busy 7th Avenue and lost control of the car, crashing into the patio area of Bradley's On 7th, striking a crowd of people.Police said they arrested the 22-year-old driver, Silas Sampson on multiple charges. The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office released footage of Sampson being booked into jail.

But the criminal was charged only for 11 years in prison. He killed 4 and injured 13 people. That is so lame for killing 4 people. It should be 25 years. I am sure they are going to let him go after a few years. Stupid justice system. Cops should not give chase if there are crowds of pedestrians in the area, i.e, an area with night clubs, restaurants and residential areas.

The situation you describe clearly illustrates a problem with how police pursuits are handled in busy areas. It's understandable that the authorities want to apprehend a suspect, but when a pursuit ends in such a tragedy, the entire system needs to be reevaluated. The driver's loss of control and the resulting impact on innocent bystanders is a tragedy that should never have happened. The 11-year sentence, in my opinion, is far too lenient considering that four people died and 13 others were injured. It's crucial that the justice system be more severe in these cases, not only to deliver justice but also to prevent similar incidents from occurring. Protecting innocent lives should be the top priority in any police operation. Prevention and accountability in managing these pursuits are fundamental to avoiding future tragedies.
