From the Caroll County report, a teenager allegedly shot and killed her parents while her 6-year-old sister was home, then remained in the house until the young child found the bodies.
According to the report, Ashely Hulsey, a spokesperson for the Carroll County Sheriff's Office, officers responded to a residence after receiving a 911 call from 17-year-old Sarah Patrick on Feb. 20. Upon entering the home, police found Patrick's parents, 45-year-old James Brock and 41-year-old Kristin Block, deceased from multiple apparent gunshot wounds, per Hulsey.
The report said that Hulsey claimed that after Patrick shot her parents, she left their bodies in plain view until her 6-year-old sister found them, but didn't exactly understand what happened to them.
In addition to the report, Patrick was arrested on July 8 and charged with two counts of murder and two counts of aggravated assault, but Hulsey emphasized that the investigation was still ongoing and that other family members were being investigated as possible accomplices.
