With the rise of social media, digital influencers have become true celebrities, gaining space in advertising, fashion and even film and TV. This raises the question: are we seeing the end of the era of big movie and TV stars, replaced by influencers who are closer and more connected to the public? How does this affect the way we consume entertainment and the very idea of "fame"?

I highly doubt this would affect entertainment though, cause these influencers do not act movies. No matter how much people love them, there will still be a need to watch a good movie, and these celebrities are the ones people fall back to.

In my country there are influencers who have participated in films, I at least believe that this trend will become a reality.
It's also the same here we now have a lot of influencers who are into short movies and even comedians now are now going into movies.

I think it will be difficult to erase cinema and movie celebrities from the entertainment industry. In fact, movie stars are the most recognized digital influencers. Only few lucky digital influencer succeed without having any link to movie industry.
