This beautiful sight can be viewed with the naked eye, and folks will be able to enjoy over an hour of total darkness when the moon takes on its reddish hue. It will also be visible in places like New Zealand, Africa, and Europe. For those in the Eastern Daylight Time zone, the eclipse will begin at 2:26 AM on Friday, and if you're in the Pacific Daylight Time zone, it will start at 11:26 PM on Thursday night.
