With the advent of smartphone people have reduced the use of computers. Both laptops and computers. The smartphone is handy no doubt but working on a computer is more convenient. We can open many pages at a time and shift from one to the other. Working while referring to different websites is easier in a computer which is not that easy or sometimes impossible in a smartphone. Do you agree?
 
This is very true a computer will give a better user experience compared to a phone, especially for complex tasks. But I have always been more effective on a mobile phone than on a computer but I am changing now. I want to use more of the computer this year for my online activities.

I couldn't agree more. These two are efficiently performing their different functions. A smartphone is efficient when it comes to being handy, and a computer is perfect, especially for heavy-duty work.

Yes, for complex work the computer is more useful where web page space is concerned.

A computer has far more advanced hardware components than the highest end smartphone. Just the sheer size of the screen is enough to reduce eye strain for you thereby making it more convenient to work with.
 
I would say that both laptops and smartphones come with their own set of advantages and functionality. Smartphones are convenient when you are on the go and for small work. But when it comes to heavy work and long working hours, a laptop is convenient and better. Smartphones can strain your eyes more if you work on them for longer hours. Also, switching between different webpages and windows is easier with a laptop. So, one can work on a few sites simultaneously and do a few works together.

That's the reason a computer or laptop is still preferred over a smartphone. The smartphone phone is handy and can be used anywhere.

The smartphone is easy to carry anywhere and requires less space. However we have to carry our laptop when we have to download heavy data.

Where app is concerned the smartphone is essential but scrolling through a page is easier in a laptop or computer.

I partially disagree, certainly working on a notebook is better because the widgets are more visible on the screen, but smartphones don't lose out in terms of processing and opening several tabs, meaning you can work with both devices at the same time.

Smartphones do hang when you work on it for too long but a computer seldom does.

When I do some work that needs a bigger screen and shifting from one web page to another I use the laptop or desktop.
 
The only thing that is making phones to get more usage than computers is simply because phones are mobile and can easily be conveyed from one place to the other. That aside, working online is far more efficient when using a computer than a phone.
