The death toll from the Gaza War has surpassed 44,000

According to local health experts, the battle between Hamas and Israel, which is now in its 13th month, has claimed more than 44,000 lives. Half of those killed are said to be children and women. The Israeli military claims to have killed 17,000 militants, but they have presented no evidence to support this claim. Since the war began, there have been 104,268 wounded. The health ministry believes the true figures are greater since remains are buried in regions where medical professionals cannot reach them.

According to sources, 3,580 people in Lebanon have been murdered as a result of Israeli strikes, with another 15,000 injured. On Thursday alone, 51 persons were confirmed dead in Lebanon. Israel claims it has taken care to avoid injuring civilians, but Hamas is conducting its operations in residential locations.
