On Monday, the Department of Migrant Workers announced that it will take strong action to support the Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) who tragically lost his 5-year-old child in an accident at Ninoy Aquino International Airport in the Philippines. The child was killed when an SUV crashed into the departure area of the airport. In addition to the tragic loss, the OFW's mother and daughter were also hurt in the incident. This accident has caused a great deal of sadness, especially since it also claimed the life of another man and injured several other people. In response, the Land Transportation Office has suspended the driver's license of the person responsible for the accident for 90 days while they investigate further.
