I think when it comes to listening to music, people prefer earbuds to wired headphones. Seems earbuds always have better sound production compared to wired headphones.

But what are the disadvantages of earbuds against wired headphones?

Earbuds send the sound waves directly to the ear drums. Sometimes these waves damage the ear drums. Whereas headphones spread the sound throughout the circumference of the ear pad preventing damage.
