I sometimes feel that being a business owner for a structured business with staff is a journey that is very lonely.

As a a business owner, you have to make tough decisions that no one really understands. Your staff would question your decisions.

But only you as the business owner knows why you make those decisions. The life of a business owner is tough.

I think one set of people in this world that are easily misunderstood is businesses owners. People always tend to castigate them for unfavorable decisions without understanding the rationale for those decisions.

I find loneliness of steering ship frustrating at times. I make difficult decisions protect capital while others shout without understanding. Legal agreements protect my position without wavering in life now.

Being the one at the top can feel pretty isolating. You’re the one carrying the weight, making calls that others might not fully get, and sometimes you can’t really share the whole picture with your staff. Even when they question you, you still have to stand firm because you know the bigger reason behind the decision. It’s tough, and it can feel lonely, but that’s kind of the reality of steering the ship, you’re the one holding the wheel when the waters get rough.
