The Federal Government has reacted to the viral video showing a cleric flogging a group of m!nors in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

In a press statement signed by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Honourable Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development, Jonathan Eze, on Saturday the Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, said it is a gross violation of the Child Rights Act.”

She said the Federal government would not tolerate any form of abuse, especially those targeted at children

They should find something worthwhile to do with their time. Nigeria is decaying and people are frustrated and federal government have time for trivialities. Let the appropriate body take the responsibility.
