News making round online is that the Federal Government of Nigeria has plans to send its first citizen into space. This was disclosed by the the Director General of the National Space Research and Development Agency, Mathew Adepoju.

This happened during a press conference held in Abuja on Wednesday, June 19. He revealed that Nigeria has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Space Exploration and Research Agency (SERA) to facilitate this ambitious project.

This collaboration signifies a major milestone in Nigeria’s 25th anniversary of space exploration. With this the country will be placed among countries actively engaged in human spaceflight.
 
That's good to hear, mate. That's remarkable. Many good things follow after that exploration. In my country there were already 4 astronauts who landed in the outer space on Mars.

After sending the first citizen to space what happens next? I think it's cool though but is this really the right time to do this? There are so many things going wrong within the county right now.
