The Federal Government has directed schools nationwide to limit graduation ceremonies to only pupils and students completing Primary 6, Junior Secondary School 3 (JSS3) and Senior Secondary School 3 (SSS3)

The move is aimed at discouraging excessive celebrations in schools and easing the growing financial pressure on parents. The decision was announced by the Minister of Education, Dr Maruf Tunji Alausa, alongside the Minister of State for Education, Prof. Suiwaba Sa’idu.
