If at all you ever created your website , did you do the graphics and web designing for the websites on your own or outsourced the services from the specialists?

I don't own a website yet but when i do, i would meet specialist for the graphics and web designing since i know little about them.
For me l would wish to really be conversant with the graphics and designs venture.
