The Hobbit/Lord of the Rings

It was pretty awesome but to be honest I didn't really understand most of what was happening cause i was still rather young back then. I plan on rewatching all of them again though.

I've watched all of them! I'm surprised that The Hobbit was stretched out into 3 films when the other books just got one movie per book (some of them could have used 3 movies to cover everything), but they also pulled some content from The Silmarillion to include in the Hobbit movies too.

I have seen the Lord of the Rings and only the first one of the Hobbit films, the Lord of the Rings is one of my favorite sagas, I still have to finish the series of the rings of power as well.

Strangely, I haven't enjoyed the Rings of Power series. I found the elves horribly irritating, and I didn't feel that way while watching the movies. Young Galadriel in particular acted like a petulant teenager. In contrast, I did like the scenes that included the hobbits.

Yeah, I really had to push myself to get through the episode. The hobbits show up after the first 15 minutes.
I think the issue for me is that I don't really know any of the cast. Lord of the Rings & The Hobbit have so many well known names such as Ian McKellen, Ian Holm, Cate Blanchett, Christopher Lee etc that it makes it easier to watch.

I think Lenny Henry was the only actor I knew in the series cast, and he did a wonderful hobbit.

I really wanted to like the series. I just couldn't.

Now, the movies... I rewatch them often, especially during the holidays. I've dreamed of having a LOTR movie watching marathon/Eat Like A Hobbit party, with hobbit food courses served throughout the day (breakfast, second breakfast, elevenses, luncheon, afternoon tea, dinner, supper), but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

He's awesome. He voiced the Shrunken Head in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. :D
