The increasing potentiality and access of all manners of people to the internet have motivated more and more people to be exploit the services it provides. The internet is also very fast, raletively cheap no And reliable on the provition of it's s ervices.. Notwithstanding the inexhaustible attributes of the internet it is equally worthy of note that criminals take undue advantage of the capabilities of the internet to perpetrate series of internet crimes and unethical people use the internet to commit crimes. Unethical people use the internet to carry out criminal activities because, they have discovered that:-

*} The level of risk in the internet is low while the level of returns is high.

*} Carrying out criminal activities on the Internet is easy while the probability of detecting the perpetrator is somehow difficult.

*}Must Countries do not have the machinery to combat e- business and internet crimes.

*} A person could also use another person's computer system to defraud his victim.
 
The increase in internet crimes and frauds is partly because some of the top tech and internet companies are openly supporting banking, online fraudster, cybercriminals robbing data , getting them no work, no investment government jobs in the internet sector.
 
The surge in internet crimes and frauds underscores the need for robust cybersecurity measures, user awareness, and stringent law enforcement. Collaborative efforts are crucial to safeguarding online spaces.
 
Crime on the internet will be more difficult to prevent than offline crime which is only in one location and will be easily handled by the local police. Crime and fraud on the internet is very complex and very widespread and can occur between countries, so every country must work together to prevent this crime.
