The intergeration of the KYC with the cryocurrency mining?

For me l have really found out that, the crypto coin mining for instance the likes of Pi network among others, strongly encourage the miners to do the KYC verification before making withdrawals for the coins. What do you think is the reason behind that?

From several articles that I have read, Pi Network has been accused of misusing user data or stealing user data to make a profit, that is one of the reasons why I am not interested in Pi network and the like.

It's probably to ensure a secured and fair environment for mining. As for the aspect of pi, a lot of people still have doubts if they are really legit or not.

According to the Binance exchange, the legitimacy of the Pi project is in doubt, even many experts consider it a scam, no utility, lack of transparency, potential exploitation of user data. Meanwhile, according to the CEO of the Bybit exchange, Ben Zhou, also emphasized that the Pi network is a scam.
