The family of late Olubadan of Ibadanland has announced the passing of their monarch, Oba Lekan Balogun. The monarch died late Thursday and will be buried in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State
The monarch died after completing two years on the throne as the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland. He died after a brief illness and will be buried according to Islamic rites.
He was survived by wives, children and grandchildren. May his soul rest in peace.
