And the mystery continues. Since the beginning of this cryptocurrency, a lot of speculations have been made around it's creator. And still after so many years the mystery continues. Satoshi Nakamoto... Does the name sound very familiar to you? That's who we think has created this Bitcoin cryptocurrency and has changed the history. But the mystery continues...
A big court judgement came in March 2024. Australian Computer Scientist, Craig Wright, claimed it for 8 long years that he was the creator of Bitcoin in the pseudonym of Satoshi Nakamoto. Copa ( Crypto Open Patent Alliance) had brought the case to the court. They claimed that Wright fabricated the evidences and intimidated skeptics. And UK High Court ruled that Craig Wright is not the creator of the coin as he claims. Justice James Mellor's decision was based on evidences. He debunked Wright's narratives and affirms the truth of developers and Open Source community

And the mystery still prevails...
What's your say on the creator of Bitcoin?

Yes, no one would like to come out in open and risk themselves to all the scrutiny that might happen. And it seems more of the work of a community of open source developers than a single person. Well, it's all the speculations and we might not know the truth ever.

What's your say on the creator of Bitcoin?
I don't think we'll ever truly know who created Bitcoin.
Was it an individual, a group, etc.? No one really knows.

Whoever it was though deserves a statue/memorial for opening up a whole new world of currency to the public.

@Webster . Very true. It will not be easy for someone to come out and claim it. And if one does, I am sure that many would come forward to take the credit. Like this fellow in the news who wanted all the limelight. Well, Bitcoin and crypto currency is definitely a very innovative thought. He very well deserves this oit of box thinking. Well, the impact of it in both positive and negative ways would be a separate topic of debate.
