The police in Bauchi state have arrested a 30-year-old petty trader, Manuda Zakari Ya’u, who allegedly stabbed and k!lled 25-year-old Basiru Mohammed, a commercial motorcyclist, snatched his motorcycle with the hope of using the funds he would generate from selling the motorcycle to pick a third wife.
The spokesperson of the state police command, CSP Mohammed Ahmed Wakil, who disclosed this to newsmen, said on October 16 at about 21:30 hours, the Bauchi State command received a distress call from a vigilant citizen in Unguwan Dr Sulaiman Adamu Quarters, near the old airport, reporting a serious incident.”
