The speaker emphasizes the difficulty in taking cryptocurrencies seriously when a significant focus is on speculative meme coins, which distract from more substantive projects. For me, memecoins are currently like the promise of NFTs at the time, the value is given to them by the same people with the same hype and they buy it and give it a value that only a few manage to sell and make a profit, that is not a scam and they steal all the liquidity, but it does not mean that you can earn money, even if you trade in a relatively stable memecoin, anyway, you have to have a lot of strategy, you can earn money, with a little luck factor or a lot of analysis you can earn a lot of money, but of course you have to get rid of the idea of false promises that because some random in the world became a millionaire without knowing anything it will happen to you because that is not the case and you will only lose money, I have several favorite memecoins, they are like characters and many have an Instagram account, I love them
