The Secret Power of Your Website Isn't the Design

people get so stressed about colors and pictures. and yeah that stuff is nice. but the real magic is in the words. i mean it. when someone lands on your page, can they instantly get what you are about. do your words sound like you are talking to a friend. or do they sound like a robot manual. just talk to people. tell them what you do and how it helps them. tell them what to do next, like ‘call me’ or ‘read my story’. good words build trust before someone ever meets you. that is the real work. the design is just the house. the words are the warm light inside that makes people want to come in.
