The Vatican has approved Italian guidelines that allow gay men to become priests

Recent reports state that the Vatican has authorized new regulations permitting gay men to enroll at Italian seminaries as long as they refrain from having sex. This represents a startling change in the Catholic Church's position about prospective priest candidates. Although the Vatican had previously not specifically forbade gay men from becoming priests, a 2016 decree said that seminaries could not accept men who had "deep-seated homosexual tendencies." Pope Francis has been praised for his more accepting stance toward the LGBTQ community since taking over as head of the Catholic Church in 2013, even allowing priests to bless same-sex couples out there on an individual basis.

I doubt if a gay priest is is sincere and faithful to his priesthood should this be fully implemented . There were priests in the Philippines doing an illicit act and they were found to be gays. They cannot resist temptations. There are also non-gay priests who are doing an immoral acts,

It doesn't make sense to me, cause the whole idea of being a priest is to abstain completely, that's the main sacrifice. Allowing someone who is gay is wrong in so many levels.

It will become a humiliation to God the Father having a gay to serve His church. It's stated in the Bible that gays and lesbians cannot enter heaven but hell.
