The World Bank has projected a rise in poverty levels in Nigeria, estimating an increase of 3.6 percentage points by 2027.

This forecast was contained in the Bank’s Africa’s Pulse report, released during the ongoing Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank in Washington, DC.

The report presents a bleak outlook for poverty reduction in Nigeria, warning that despite modest gains in economic activity—particularly in the non-oil sector in late 2024—structural challenges.
 
The world Bank is in the right track for sure. Nigeria is surely heading in a very bad direction because the economy is in a bad shape so to speak.
Yeah right the economy is in total bad shape. I can't just understand how we are surviving especially for the middle class
 
Yet some silly and scrupulous people have already beating drum for the ruling party and the president for the next election. A lot of Nigerians can barely eat three square meals daily. May God save us from heartless politicians and sycophants.
