During the sectarian hostilities that broke out a little more than a week ago, Syrian government soldiers have been accused of carrying out a massacre at a hospital. Staff at Suweida's National Hospital told the BBC that patients were slain in the wards.

If this report from Suweida’s hospital is accurate, it’s a clear breach of the Geneva Conventions. Hospitals and patients are protected zones, even during conflict. The immediate priority would be securing evidence and getting third-party observers in, Red Cross, UN investigators, etc. Anything else is speculation until there’s hard verification
