Thirty-five kidnapped victims of Banga village in Zamfara State were slaughtered by bandits failure to pay ransom

No fewer than thirty-five kidnapped victims of Banga village in Kaura-Namoda Local Government Area of Zamfara State were said to have been slaughtered by bandits for failure to pay N35 million ransom.


An indigene of the village, Sani Suleiman, disclosed this in a telephone interview with punch on Sunday, July 27, 2025, stating that bandits had kidnapped 53 people from the village, where they demanded the sum of one million naira from each of the captives.

It is well, how do they expect them families of the victims to have such money. Majority of them don't even have enough to survive on.

That was a brutal and barbaric killing of those innocent people because of the failed ransom. What was their government doing? Why are there continuous crimes of the same scenario?
