Thousands flee in eastern DR Congo as armed rebels advances to Goma

Since this week, violence escalated in eastern region of DR Congo as armed rebels engage Congolese army force in intense fighting. Thousands of people are fleeing from the advancing armed rebels. The armed rebel constitutes more than 120 different groups which M23 is the leading group. According to report, the rebels are targeting the major strategic position in the city of Goma and Sake. It is still not clear whether the rebels have taken over the major town of Goma and Sake.

This is a bad time for DR congo. I hope the West can intervene as the war rages. it is not good for the country at this critical time

Things would definitely go from bad to worse if not handled quickly. Imagine having to run for your life while in this kind of economy we are in now.
