As Israel's massive ground offensive to take Gaza City enters its second day, thousands of Palestinians are still leaving the city. Gaza's Hamas-run health ministry reported that half of the patients and their families were forced to evacuate after three consecutive Israeli attacks hit the al-Rantisi children's hospital during the heavy bombing that occurred overnight. According to the Israeli military, the report is being investigated. According to other hospitals, Israeli fire has killed at least 35 individuals in Gaza so far on Wednesday, the most of them were in the northern region. The Israeli military had earlier declared that it had supported its ground soldiers in Gaza City by hitting over 150 targets in two days.
