TikTok is building a new app ahead of US sale.

The developers of TikTok are building a new TikTok app. That's in preparation for the sale of the short videos platform to US investors. The existing app would still work till March 2026. This comes as Donald Trump stated that he would start talking to China regarding the sale of TikTok.

I don't know why the United States wants to have 100% of all social media. It is crazy though. TikTok is surely going to be an American company soon.

They might end up loosing some active users by the time they take over the app, and who knows the new app Tiktok company is currently working on might be better.
