I often think about whether time value of money can be applied to cryptocurrency. According to the scientific disciplines I have studied, we can apply time value to any asset that is affected by inflation and has excess value in the future. Bitcoin has these criteria and qualifications. Bitcoin will be considered inflationary by the increase in supply from mining returns. Although mining results will decrease (halving) as deflation on Bitcoin. Bitcoin also has the ability to add value in the future, but Bitcoin's value fluctuates, it has no interest rates, and Bitcoin is still a speculative asset. So in my opinion, as long as Bitcoin has not been mined, we cannot measure the current value of Bitcoin using the time value of money formula.
