An overturned truck on Otedola Bridge in the early hours of Friday caused severe traffic congestion along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway

According to reports, the traffic jam stretched from the Otedola Bridge to Berger, as motorists heading into Lagos struggled to find alternative routes.

The Lagos State Police Command’s Rapid Response Squad confirmed the incident on Facebook, noting that a secondary accident occurred as a result of the overturned truck.

It is somehow soothing to know that there was no life lost in the incident. The losses would always be gotten back with time.
