Troops uncovered weapons, tunnel around school building in northern Gaza, says IDF

According to the report, the IDF says that troops of the 401st Brigade uncovered weapons hidden in a building that formerly served as the Al-Rafi’i school in the Jabalia area of northern Gaza, and dismantled a nearby underground terror tunnel.

The report also stated that the military found the tunnel which has approximately 400 meters (1,300 feet) long , and it was located adjacent to the school building and was neutralized during the operation. Soldiers also took down military structures used by terrorist cells that, the IDF says, had been attempting to target Israeli forces operating in the area.

The report added that The activity was carried out under the command of the 162nd Division, as part of ongoing Israeli efforts to dismantle Hamas infrastructure in Gaza.
