According to the report, US President Trump announced the US military struck another “drug boat” in international waters, killing three people. The strike occurred within the Southern Command area, including Central and South America and the Caribbean. Venezuela responded with large-scale military exercises, flying Russian-made jets with anti-ship missiles and deploying drones. Citing the “threatening, vulgar voice” of the US, Caracas accused Washington of escalating tensions. The strikes and US warship deployments have fueled fears of a potential invasion.
