According to the report, every visit by Zelensky to the White House is unpredictable, and this one was no different. Arriving in a suit and seeking long-range missiles and firm U.S. support, Zelensky faced a White House still reeling from Trump’s call with Putin. Instead of clear commitments, he was met with vague promises, territorial suggestions, and pressure to make concessions.

The report also said that the meeting left Trump frustrated, Zelensky tense, and aides scrambling for damage control. With Budapest talks uncertain and European allies preparing their own meetings, Ukraine’s path remains unclear. Will this spin of the coin bring peace, or prolong the war?

It seems President Trump is now siding with Putin. The people and the government in Ukraine will not agree with the idea of Trump to give up their territory to favor the venomous Putin.

This is not the first time that leaders have met and things have gotten heated. Zelensky came with hope but was met with pressure and unfulfilled promises. Trump also seemed tired of the meeting and the vibes were very bad.

Ukraine is not ready to give up their land easily even if the pressure is high. Their people want justice and real peace, not a quick deal. This war is not over yet but there is still hope.
