According to the report, US President Donald Trump has escalated the trade war with China and has imposed a 145% tariff on Beijing. While he had earlier announced 125% tariffs on China, the White House has now clarified that these new tariffs would be imposed in addition to an already existing fentanyl-related tariff of 20%. This came after China imposed an 84% tariff on the US, in retaliation to Trump's earlier-announced 104% tariffs on China. Trump had initially levied a total 54% tariff on Beijing, which was quick to retaliate with a 34% tariff on the US.

Meanwhile, Trump has announced a 90-day pause on "retaliatory" tariffs for over 75 countries, merely 12 hours after his 'Liberation Day' tariffs came into effect. He has now kept a baseline tariff of 10% for all the nations that reached out to the US, seeking a trade deal.

Tariff is now the latest issue worldwide, it is also a problem in the Philippines for the imposition of higher tariffs. The 145 % tariff for China seems too much for them to accept.

China already declared to have a war with the USA. There are so many wars now giant country versus giant country. Small countries will be affected much.

Donald Trump is using tariffs policies to force China and other countries to come to his terms. Donald Trump is a shrouded businessman who is expert negotiator! He knows what he wants but it will not get it from China. Other countries may work for him but China is no go area.
