According to the report, on the night of November 14, a drone attack by Ukrainian armed forces on the seaport in Novorossiysk, Krasnodar region of Russia, was filmed and shared by Turkish sailors standing near the port. The footage, which was shared on social media, shows Ukrainian drones launching a series of strikes on the port and ships stationed there.

The report also stated that Turkish sailors said that one of the ships in the port was hit. It has been reported that Ukrainian drones struck the Russian port city of Novorossiysk, Krasnodar Krai, on Nov. 14, damaging an oil terminal and sparking a large fire. They attacked and hit the Sheskharis oil complex, where infrastructure facilities were damaged and a blaze broke out.

The report added that the facility is a major oil export terminal that serves as the endpoint for pipelines run by Russia's state-run Transneft, the world's largest oil pipeline company. The Krasnodar Krai operational headquarters reported the hit at the oil terminal and said several coastal facilities had been damaged in the attack. Officials claimed the fire at the Sheskharis complex had been extinguished.

In addition, the channel's sources report an arrival at the oil terminal of JSC Chernomortransneft. Novorossiysk, a key hub for Russia's Black Sea logistics and energy infrastructure, has been repeatedly targeted in Ukrainian strikes. Kyiv considers Russian oil refineries and petrochemical facilities to be valid military targets as they help fund Moscow's war efforts.

From my perspective, the attacks in Novorossiysk demonstrate how the war in Ukraine continues to escalate and affect strategic areas in Russia. It is worrying that such important infrastructure as the oil terminal and other critical resources have been targeted, as this not only harms the Russian economy but also increases tension in the region. However, I also understand that Kyiv views these targets as part of its strategy to weaken Russia's war effort, especially given that the country's finances are heavily dependent on energy exports. The situation is complex, and any military action at these key locations could have significant repercussions, both in escalating the conflict and in international security. The international community should be vigilant about how these attacks affect regional stability and seek ways to de-escalate the situation, although there are clearly conflicting interests at play.

This was the retaliation of Ukraine to Russia for killing innocent children while they were inside their classroom, and the other drones that left Ukraine in complete darkness when Russian drones over Ukraine's infrastructure.
