Two police officers were k!lled when suspected Boko Haram terrorists attacked the Nganzai Police Division in Borno State.

The spokesperson of the command, ASP Nahum Kennel Daso, confirmed the incident in a statement on Thursday, January 9, 2025,

Yusufu Mohammed, visited Nganzai Police Division, adding that he commended officers for their resilience and condoled with families of two officers who lost their lives.

According to Daso, the incident occurred at about 12:10 am on Thursday.

Borno state is the center of insurgency in Nigeria. When the terrorists started the poor masses are hailing them as messiahs. They are accommodate by the people and now the dog is after the owner. It is sad that the gains of democracy in that state have been eroded by boko haram and other insurgents.
