Type of keys on keyboard

Keyboards have different types of keys, some of chiclet type keys which do not make noise, while cheaper keyboard have large keys which make noise when used. What kind of keys do the keyboards members use have?

I always prefer those keyboard keys that doesn't make any noise when pressed. That's the type that came out with my laptop.
