Typhoon Bualoi killed at least 11 people and damaged or destroyed hundreds of homes in central and northern Vietnam, according to state media. Dozens of people are missing or injured after the typhoon made landfall on Sunday night, flooding highways, destroying bridges, and tearing roofs off buildings before weakening and moving into neighboring Laos.

Bualoi has killed almost 20 individuals in the Philippines since Friday. It's the latest storm to hit the region with strong winds and rain. Last week, Super Typhoon Ragasa, the most powerful storm of 2025, killed at least 28 people in the northern Philippines and Taiwan before making landfall in Hong Kong and China.

Everything that's been happening with typhoons lately is so overwhelming. Bualoi has a profound impact on me because it's not just the loss of life, which is already devastating, but also the total destruction of homes and basic infrastructure. I can only imagine how difficult it must be for the families who lost everything in a matter of hours. The most worrying thing is that this comes just a week after Ragasa, which had already left a tragic toll in the Philippines, Taiwan, and then China. It seems the region has no respite from these phenomena. I think that beyond immediate aid, much more investment should be made in prevention systems, safe shelters, and reconstruction programs, because the damage grows more severe with each season. I hope international aid arrives quickly, and that the affected communities can recover soon from this difficult situation.

The amount of Natural disasters this year alone, if am not mistaken i believe this year should be one of the highest, if not the highest. May God help us.
