Typhoon Ragasa Havoc: Monster Waves Crash Into Hong Kong Hotel Lobby

According to the report, super typhoon Ragasa, considered the strongest storm of 2025, is causing widespread devastation across East Asia. In Hong Kong, storm warnings were raised to the T10 level, with dramatic footage showing how “monster waves that were seen entering a five-star hotel,” shattering glass and sweeping through the lobby. The typhoon made landfall in Taiwan on September 23rd, resulting in 14 deaths, injuring 34, and leaving over 100 people missing after a barrier lake burst in Warren County. The storm, with wind speeds of around 215 kilometers per hour, has also made landfall in China's Guangzhou province, prompting mass evacuations. Flight operations have been severely impacted across the region, complicating efforts for those attempting to flee the affected areas.

It is such a deadly typhoon . I am hoping that the people near the flood areas have fled for safety of their lives. This storm also reaches Manila.

The flood wants to enter the hotel rooms thankfully, only in the hotel lobby. I cannot describe the panic mood of the hotel occupants especially those who are about to leave and they cannot leave because the flood enters the hotel lobby.
