According to the report, a relative of Vladimir Putin accidentally disclosed classified Russian casualty figures from the war in Ukraine during a parliamentary hearing last month.

The report said that Ana Tsivilyova, daughter of Putin's cousin and a deputy defense minister, revealed that 48,000 relatives had submitted DNA samples to track missing soldiers.

The report added that the sensitive data was exposed during a meeting with lawmakers, as shown in footage published by Astra, a Russian opposition Telegram channel.

The report also stated that the actual number of Russian soldiers killed in Ukraine is believed to be significantly higher, according to Western intelligence assessments, with battlefield losses remaining a closely guarded secret in both Russia and Ukraine.

Ukraine has lost closer to 500000. That’s why, they are always out of manpower

What is "sensitive" about killed people? Other than their specific names?Well: In case the Russian government has aspirations about hiding their losses, they should simply refrain from that shit, since nothing in the realm of spreading lies contributes in any kind to a better standing in a war. If the goal had been to encourage the people to participate in the "defense sector", it would be rather beneficial to exaggerate (instead of infantilely deny) the losses. Anyways: With unaccounted losses in the dimension of a few ten thousand, while having already accounted for losses in the dimension of a multitude that much, that denial appears to be childish, doesn't it?- One viewer said.

War is terrible and both parties involved must surely feel the impact of the conflict. Russia and Ukraine are losing human resources and economically over stretched. If the war continues for more two years, a lot of European countries will suffer serious economic downturn.
