According to the report, the Kremlin has warned the West that allowing Ukraine to strike Russian territory with long-range missiles would deepen Western involvement in the war and provoke a response from Moscow. This comes as Ukrainian officials urge the U.S. and U.K. to approve the use of long-range ATACMS and Storm Shadow missiles.
The report said that the U.S. has been hesitant to provide such weapons, fearing escalation, but there are signs of a shift in policy. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that Moscow suspects a decision has already been made.
