Ukraine seeks new round of talks with Russia

President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Ukraine has offered a fresh round of peace discussions with Russia in an effort to resume talks that had halted last month.

In his evening speech, Zelensky stated that every effort must be made to secure a ceasefire and that senior security officer Rustem Umerov has offered to meet with the Russian side next week. Zelenksy also reaffirmed his willingness to have a face-to-face meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. "A meeting at the leadership level is needed to truly ensure peace," he stated. The request was made just hours after Russia killed three people in Ukraine with another massive airstrike.

Putin always refuses to accept the proposed peace deal. He was also given 50 days ultimatum by President Trump to respond to the proposed peace deal with Ukraine, Putin is hard to get and convince.

I read in the news about the drone attacks on Russia today by Ukraine so I don't think there will be any possibility of cease fire between the two nations.
