According to the report, the Security Service of Ukraine's counterintelligence agency conducted a large-scale special operation and detained four Russian agents who were gathering intelligence on the deployment of Ukrainian Armed Forces in the east of the country, the SBU press service reported. During a multi-stage operation, the SBU simultaneously detained four members of an FSB spy network in the Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Two of them worked in pairs, the others acted alone, all had a single handler from Russia. According to investigators, agents from Dnipro, working at a local food warehouse, passed on military unit addresses and other logistical information to Russian intelligence agencies. They secretly photographed consignment notes and sent them via messaging apps. Two other detainees were residents of the Kramatorsk district recruited by the FSB. One, a local postal worker, was documenting Ukrainian Armed Forces fortifications near the front line under the guise of official travel, while the other was filming the movement of Ukrainian army freight trains from a designated socially-secured location.SBU investigators documented the criminal activity of all network participants, charged them under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, and remanded them in custody without bail. Those who assisted the occupiers face life imprisonment and confiscation of property.

Recently, the Security Service of Ukraine has identified a Russian agent who infiltrated a Ukrainian Armed Forces attack drone unit. He provided a warning to the occupiers of planned drone strikes and transmitted information on the positions of Ukrainian troops. During a complex special operation, the SBU, together with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, detained a 26-year-old resident of Kropyvnytskyi, mobilized into a company of attack UAVs on the Eastern Front. The investigation revealed that a Ukrainian military man became an FSB agent and informed the Russian army about the timing, directions, and intended targets of Ukrainian drone operations. He also transmitted data on the unit's permanent deployment points and combat positions.
