According to the report, the Ukrainian Soldiers of the 3rd Assault Brigade, part of Ukraine’s 3rd Army Corps, successfully eliminated a Russian sabotage and reconnaissance group attempting to advance near Novoselivka, halting an enemy effort to gain a foothold for a new offensive. According to official reports, the Russian SRG intended to establish positions near the Oskil River, aiming to disrupt Ukrainian logistics and cut off the Izium–Sloviansk highway, a key supply and transport route in the region.

The report also said that the Ukrainian 3rd Assault Brigade unit engaged the enemy after detecting their movements toward the area. During the operation, troops cleared an aircraft hangar and underground facilities where Russian saboteurs had entrenched themselves. The action ensured the security of supply lines and preserved access routes to the forward positions along the front line. Before the assault, Ukrainian soldiers adhered to their established protocol by offering the enemy a chance to surrender. After the Russian fighters refused, Ukrainian forces launched a swift and decisive attack, neutralizing the saboteurs. Several members of the SRG were reportedly captured during the engagement.

Russian troops lack skills in combat, many f them were killed and surrendered to Ukraine. They'd better surrender than to be killed for the sake of the evil leader, Putin.

The operation carried out by Ukraine's 3rd Assault Brigade reflects the importance of preparation, discipline, and terrain knowledge in modern conflicts. In my opinion, the most relevant aspect of this report is not only the elimination of the Russian sabotage group, but also how the Ukrainians managed to secure critical supply lines, something that can determine the sustainability of any future offensive. It seems clear to me that the Russian group's refusal to surrender underscores the poor coordination and training often observed in improvised or ill-prepared units. Personally, I believe this type of action demonstrates that, beyond numerical or technological superiority, strategy and tactical discipline make the difference. Furthermore, rescuing and capturing enemy personnel instead of simply eliminating them demonstrates a calculated and humane approach, securing valuable intelligence and minimizing unnecessary losses among one's own troops. This type of maneuver highlights the effectiveness of the Ukrainian military leadership.
