Ukrainian drones crush Russian trains; armoured trains are also defenseless

One passenger of the Moscow-Novorossiysk train suffered from shards of a broken window in the car. Rostov Region Governor Yuri Slyusar said UAVs attacked in Novoshakhtinsk, Zernograd, Kamensko-Shakhtinsky, Myasnikovsky, Peschanokopsky, Rodionovo-Nesvitaysky, Oktyabrsky rural, and Krasnosulinsky districts."The explosion damaged a building at the railroad station in Peschanokopskoye, the contact network was also damaged," wrote the head of the region, Yuri Slyusar.The incident also resulted in broken windows in private residences in the hamlet of Svetly and the village of Peschanokopskoye. Witnesses observed low-altitude flights of unmanned aerial vehicles of the aircraft type in the night sky. The Russian Defense Ministry said that during the night of July 25, it allegedly shot down 105 drones. Specifically, 23 over the Rostov region and 9 over the Krasnodar region.

Recently, Ukrainian troops have destroyed a Russian armoured train in a rare drone strike. The train itself was described as a “greeting from the Second World War” by an air reconnaissance officer. The information has been published by the Ukrainian news Kyiv Post. According to the 152nd Separate Chasseurs Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Ukrainian forces used kamikaze drones to attack a Russian armoured train that was involved in an attempted raid. The brigade shared a video of the attack on Facebook with the caption: “We haven’t shot down a locomotive yet. But everything is happening for the first time. The crew of the Asmodeus”.
