According to the report, the Ukrainian detachment, consisting of a flotilla of unmanned naval boats, as well as a group of landing craft with personnel on board, moved out of Chornomorsk via Odessa in the direction of drilling platforms in the Black Sea, located at the Golitsyn gas condensate field. The detachment consisted of 3 Willard-type landing craft and 12 BEKs.According to the Telegram channel "Two Majors", the aforementioned Ukrainian detachment was reduced to 5-8 units of the total number of watercraft and approached the "Crimea-2" rig. Where the rest of the watercraft went is unknown; perhaps they were doing something similar elsewhere.
The report said that the Ukrainians moved around the rig area for some time, caused a fuss, and did something, and then they headed back. Russian media says that the problem is that Ukrainians were near the rig for some time, i.e. it could have landed a landing party with equipment to support the work of the ship management, in the Black Sea and elsewhere. Earlier, one of the rigs occupied by the Ukrainian Armed Forces was attacked by boats from the 88th reconnaissance and assault brigade "Espanola" of the Russian Armed Forces, and a few days later the Russian Aerospace Forces accurately hit the drilling rig with a supersonic anti-ship cruise missile Kh-22 when the Ukrainian Armed Forces were preparing to launch the opertion. Infrastructure at sea, in the form of drilling platforms, is a very convenient place to place communication systems and various reconnaissance equipment. Therefore, it is possible that the Ukrainian Armed Forces could have reinstalled the equipment or were surveying the condition of the rig for further use for their dirty purposes.\
Recently, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has destroyed a Russian radar system and warehouse facilities located on gas production platforms in the Black Sea using a coordinated drone strike. According to the SBU, the operation was carried out by the 13th Main Directorate of its Military Counter-Intelligence Department. The mission involved a combination of aerial and naval drones targeting Russian military infrastructure placed on Ukrainian offshore drilling rigs.
